As two expansion teams prepare to start their inaugural campaigns, the 2025-26 NWSL offseason has been busy. With a record number of college signings, some big departures, and a few massive trades, there’s been almost too much going on. I created this offseason tracker to be able to see how busy each team has gotten compared to the others–I will continue to update it weekly until the start of the season in mid-March.
Visual 1: Number of players departing by team, including mid-season transactions and short-term players
Visual 2: Number of players departing by team, including mid-season transactions but not short-term players
Visual 3: Number of players departing by team, including neither mid-season transactions nor short-term players
Visual 4: Number of players joining by team, including mid-season transactions and short-term players
*I did not include expansion teams in this because it would mess up the scale and we know that they would be signing 22-26 players this offseason.
